Filters are an integral part of air conditioners. The role of air conditioner filters is to maintain air quality, purify, remove odors, ionize, and perform a number of other functions.
Air conditioners with filters have the ability to remove mechanical particles (dust, pollen, mites), bacteria, and absorb odors.
During the operation of the air conditioner, a large amount of air passes through the unit, carrying with it a number of particles. Most of the particles remain in the filters and accumulate there, which is exactly why it is necessary to regularly maintain and clean the filters.
How to Clean a Filter?
During the operation of the air conditioner, a large amount of air passes through it, carrying a number of particles and microorganisms (bacteria, mites, etc.) that can be found in the air. As the air passes through the unit, it also passes through filters that have various functions, from removing mechanical particles to enriching the air with anions (ionizers).
The large volume of air causes dirt to accumulate in the filters. To ensure the proper operation of the air conditioner and the health safety of the air, it is necessary to clean the filters regularly.
Different types of filters are cleaned in different ways. Certain filters (for removing mechanical particles) can be cleaned/washed multiple times, while other filters must be replaced after a certain period of use.
Before Any Cleaning
Always disconnect the air conditioner from the power supply. For proper cleaning of filters and the air conditioner, consult with experts at an air conditioner service center.
Types of Filters
Our air conditioners are equipped with several different types of air conditioner filters.
Silver Ion Filter
The silver ion filter for air conditioners destroys bacteria or mitigates their effects by penetrating the cell wall of the bacteria.
Activated Carbon
Eliminates unpleasant odors and cigarette smoke, captures finer dust particles, and prevents allergies.
Bio Filter
The filter consists of biological enzymes and an eco filter. The eco filter retains very small dust particles, bacteria, and microorganisms found in the air, while the biological enzyme eliminates bacteria by dissolving cells, thus solving the problem of air pollution. The bio filter kills 95% of bacteria, and approximately 99% of dust particles remain trapped in it, making it a very effective method of sterilization.
Plasma Dust Collector
Air carries a large amount of dust and other particles. As the air passes through the electrostatic field of the air conditioner's plasma filter, more than 95% of dust, smoke, and pollen particles are left in the filter.
Vitamin C Filter
The filter fills the air with vitamin C, which softens the skin and reduces stress. The lifespan of the Vitamin C filter is approximately two years.
Ionizer
Waterfalls, forests, and other places where there is a sufficient amount of anions provide a feeling of freshness. The advantage of an ionizer in an air conditioner is the ability to create natural and refreshing air in your home. Anions in the air reduce stress, aid metabolism, stimulate circulation, improve lung function, and prevent lung diseases such as asthma.
